Hardy Ladies Slipper orchid.

A fully hardy hybrid between cypripedium species fasciolatum and formosanum. The large inflated, ribbed flowers have a white lip with pink/red marking around the mouth and lines of pink spots down the lip. The sepals have dotted lines of pink/red on a pale jade green background. Increasing quite quickly, when happy.

As growth and flowers appear early, April/May, they may need protection from late spring frosts. Grows to approx. 30cm high.

Some experience required to get the best from cypripediums. 2 nose flowering size plants supplied bare rooted.
