Cypripedium Orchid Compost. 3 litre.

Cypripediums require a moisture retentive but free draining compost with a low organic content in order to grow well.

This growing medium is made from a mixture of coarse perlite, horticultural grade pumice and composted bark.

To plant your Lady Slipper Orchid choose a suitable size container and place the rhizome on top of a cone of moistened compost with the growing point (or nose) approx. 10mm below the surface and the roots spread out down into the compost, top up with compost and surface dress with something like molar clay. Water in to settle the compost.
