The standard triple layer wicking rug with tail flap is one we thoroughly recommend for colder months and particularly when short of time Not to be confused with a basic fleece – this rug is triple layer, but quilted to reduce bulk, and wicks away moisture from the coat quickly whilst the thickness and fabric composition keeps the horse warm. So they are absolutely ideal after exercise, bathing, travel or in the very cold months just as an extra layer for warmth.

These triple layer wicking/cooler rugs wick away the moisture very quickly leaving your horse warm and dry and the moisture lifts to the outside of the rug amazingly quickly – if you leave the rug on the horse it this will just evaporate so then no need even for drying the rug out!
